A canoe trip + picnic break on an island in the heart of the historic Oise.

Discover the treasures of Adam la Ville Parc Island, its beach, its castle and its little mermaid with her feet in the water. Then head to Île du Prieuré for a picnic.

Canoeing down to Auvers sur Oise, the Mecca of Impressionist painting. Arrival at the level of the old Bac d’auvers where Vincent Van Gogh painted his famous painting La grenouillère*.

Magic and exclusive!

11h00 : Departure of our descent to Bateau STEVENSON in Parmain 95620 then 1h00 of canoe to L’isle Adam, Balzac’s earthly paradise. (12th century fortress, castle, bridges, river beach of the isle Adam, statue in the river…)

12h00 : Boarding in the Isle du Prieuré for 1h30 hours of picnic (not provided) in a beautiful park surrounded by the river.

1:00 pm: canoes start again for a river descent, due south towards Auvers sur Oise, village of Artiste.

15h00: Arrival by the river at Auvers sur Oise

Optional : Return bus (3€/person, to be paid on site)

Return to the starting point by minibus or pedestrian access in the heart of Auvers sur Oise for a visit of the village of Artist (Van Gogh).

 

This activity can be reached by TRANSILIEN (Gare du Nord, line H, stop Parmain/ L’Isle Adam, launch 300 meters from the station via pedestrian walkway; arrival in Auvers sur Oise 800 meters from the historic center; Possible return by TRANSILIEN to the Auvers train station in the direction of the Saint Lazare train station (30 minutes drive)).
